Happenings in May

The Community Garden Car is now conveniently parked across the street from our studio. A crew of people from the White House, Whipper Snapper and the Kensington BIA came together and suuped up the car for another year.

Our first pedestrian sunday of the year was awesome. Lots of people and great support. Thanks to Leah Gold and Stephanie Bruce for organizing the Kensington Market Art Hop. Endurance performance piece by Basil AlZeri outside the studio really caught people’s attention. Great work everyone!

Paul Butler came to the studio for Guess What?! and gave a talk on his future plans: college pavilion in Europe, his painting-contest for Nuit Blanche in Toronto, and being the first artist in residence at the AGO for 2011. Amy Wong’s portrait of Stephen Harper was also in attendance.
